What We Believe

We believe and confess one Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and the Good News (Gospel) as the power of God for salvation for all who believe.

We believe the Bible to be the living word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and the authoritative source and norm of our proclamation, faith, and life.

We recognize and confess our fallen and sinful nature and we trust that only through the life, death, and resurrection of God’s Son Jesus that we are made right with God. By grace we are saved through faith in order that we will give Glory to God in all we do and say.

We believe that all people are made in the image of God and that all are gifted in many and various ways. We believe that God loves all people and, therefore, we welcome, invite, and accept all into our faith community without prejudice.

We believe all people are called to share in the mission given to us by our Lord and we encourage and promote the use of individual gifts in the shared ministry of Christ’s Church.

We believe all people find purpose and meaning through a living relationship with Christ. We trust in the Holy Spirit’s power to transform and empower all people to give witness to their faith and to live it out by loving God and serving others in daily life.
