Bulletin
Welcome to Gloria Dei; we are glad you are here!
It’s our confession that the Holy Spirit draws us in so that we can know the love and grace of Jesus. Wherever your life is right now, trust that today, God gives you these gifts.
We’d love to meet you! Stop by the Welcome Center, or make an introduction at gloriadeisf.org/hello
(Bulletin contents updated weekly by 5pm, Saturdays.)
These Wednesdays in Lent, we are using the video series and book, 24 Hours that Changed the World, to draw is into Jesus last hours, leading us to Holy Week and Easter. Tonight, Jesus stands on trial before Pontius Pilate, a leading Roman authority. The crowd at the trial demands the crucifixion of Jesus and the release of another prisoner, Barabbas. Try to identify yourself in the crowd, in Barabbas, in Pontius Pilate, and in the disciples. What were they likely thinking? Feeling? Expecting? Hoping? This scene helps lead us forward in the story toward Easter.

In the powerful parable of the prodigal son, we witness the abundant joy God has when the lost return home. Gloria Dei has a core value of being a “Luke 15 Congregation.” This value means we seek out and care for the lost, and in doing so we share God’s abundant love through the gift of community.
