You’re invited to a special screening!

Release date postponed until further notice | Check back for updates

Based on a remarkable true story, ORDINARY ANGELS centers on Sharon (Hilary Swank), a fierce but struggling hairdresser in small-town Kentucky who discovers a renewed sense of purpose when she meets Ed (Alan Ritchson), a widower working hard to make ends meet for his two daughters. With his youngest daughter waiting for a liver transplant, Sharon sets her mind to helping the family and will move mountains to do it. What unfolds is the inspiring tale of faith, everyday miracles, and ordinary angels.

Anyone! Invite friends! Just please make sure they will actually come before reserving seats.

There will be a presentation and talks from many involved in the making of the movie, the people who were a part of the events that are portrayed in the movie, and local officials.

There will be a registration link available on this page starting on Sept 17, so check back here.

Gloria Dei is covering the cost of the movie ticket and events at Gloria Dei, so the event is free to you.

It is a live-action (not cartoon) full-length movie in a theater. If you think your kids would be able to sit through a movie that is not specifically made for kids, they’d probably enjoy it.

Cinemark does not allow bags bigger than 12” x 12” x 6”. Please leave larger bags and purses in your vehicle or at the church.

Yes, the full concession stand at Dawley Farms Theater will be open.

Please carpool from Gloria Dei, as parking will be very limited at the theater.

There will be four screenings for Gloria Dei families to choose from with staggered start times. The doors will open for each show 30 minutes prior to the start of the movie.

Yes, we will need ticket takers (you’ll have a device to scan the tickets) and ushers (to help people find their seats in the theater).
