The Ministry of Administration’s mission is to manage the business operations of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, including the oversight of property, personnel, and financial operations. Questions related to administration can be sent to office@gloriadeisf.org

God is generous and calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows what’s most important to us and furthers the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes our finances.
Gifts can be made to the:
General Fund: supporting all ministry areas, a fully funded General Fund ensures all areas have opportunities and the financial support needed in alignment with the approved yearly budget
Capital Campaign Deep in Faith, Wide in Outreach: phase 1-the elimination of our mortgage, phase 2-the building of a facility reserve fund; phase 3-site work for possible future expansion
Outreach Ministry of the Month: a financial gift, over and above your regular giving, directly supporting a local ministry each month
Your partnership in the work and mission of Christ is valued. We are created to be part of something much bigger than ourselves. Providing an Estimate of Giving (Pledge Card) for the current year helps Gloria Dei budget for ministry. Paper cards are available at the church office.
Lutheran Planned Generosity
As a partner ministry of the South Dakota Synod, ELCA, Lutheran Planned Generosity of South Dakota offers creative solutions to your financial, tax, and estate planning goals that recognize your faith and generosity. Whether a gift today or a legacy plan supporting those you love and the ministries you care about most, your life can make a difference.
Thrivent Members with Choice Dollars can choose a non-profit as the recipient of those gifts. Gloria Dei can be the non-profit you assign your Choice Dollar gifts to be directed to. Thrivent Members can also apply for Action Grants to be used for for generosity in the community. Gloria Dei has ministry opportunities that would welcome the financial support of Action Grants, please contact office@gloriadeisf.org

The work of the congregation is critically important. Beyond regular worship attendance, educational programming, and volunteering in ministry opportunities, the business of the church belongs to the congregation. Gloria Dei’s Annual Meeting is held the final Sunday in January each year. All Members and Associates are invited to attend. Members are welcome to vote. A quorum of 50 Members is needed to vote on motions at the meeting. Those attending virtually are not able to vote.
