Just a few reminders today of things coming up.
Stewardship Fellowship Events: November 2nd and 9th. You are invited to come to one of these two adult-only events at Vinyl Taco on Western Avenue, just south of Scheels. We will meet from 5pm to 7pm. Together we’ll enjoy good food and drink, wonderful fellowship, and we’ll hear from some fellow Gloria Dei members about the impact Gloria Dei is having on their lives and the lives of others. The November 2nd event includes childcare at Gloria Dei for those who need it. Drop kids off at the church and then come on over to Vinyl Taco.

Gloria Dei Elections: Per our Church Constitution, we hold elections for Council and other positions on the first weekend of November. We will have ballots available to be filled out on November 1st and 2nd.
Guatemalan Items for Sale on November 1st and 2nd: Sharing the Dream in Guatemala is a Fair Trade nonprofit that sells unique, hand-made products created by Guatemalan artisans – jewelry, scarves, wooden spoons, baskets, and more. The money raised is returned to Guatemala to support programs for children, families, and elders living in poverty. Sharing the Dream volunteer Karen Kraus will be selling these handcrafted items at Gloria Dei after worship the weekend of November 1 & 2. This is a great opportunity to buy a unique Christmas gift while supporting a worthwhile cause!
Reformation / Confirmation this Weekend: For worship this weekend we commemorate the Protestant Reformation as well as celebrating many more of our 9th graders who will be affirming the promises made for them and to them at their baptism. Please read John 8:31-36.
