Hey Gloria Dei! Welcome back to the regular programming year! We’re so excited to get back to our regular routines. The staff have had a fun summer with a different, but quite busy rhythm. The predictability of the program year is a lot like the predictability of a back-to-school schedule. The routines and well-worn paths offer some sense of normalcy that we all crave, even if we’ve had a great summer.
This weekend we also welcome Pastor Tim back from his summer sabbatical! It will be great to have him back in the preaching rotation again, even if that means endless Minnesota Vikings references and dad jokes are back in the rotation, too! 😉
I want to remind you that church school begins this weekend. To celebrate our fall theme, “Jump In!’ we have bouncy houses and two food trucks to add to the fun. We’ll have lots of new and returning families with us. Make sure to scootch over in those pews and make some room for all to feel welcome! In addition, feel free to invite someone to come to church with you and experience what the proclamation and living out of the Gospel is like here at Gloria Dei!
