Short and Sweet this week.
I want to remind you that we are in the season of Lent, the forty-day period leading up to Easter. During Lent, our midweek, 6 pm Wednesday evening worship services are centered around the Seven Last Words of Christ. Next Wednesday, February 21, we take a look at Jesus’ second word, as he says to one of the thieves hanging beside him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Come early if you can for supper beginning at 5 pm.
And for this weekend, we continue in the gospel of Mark. In preparation for worship, please read Mark chapter 10.
