Redesigned Website, New Branding, and a New Domain Name

With the Cross at the center of the circle, we see God’s love in Christ is central and eternal. The point orients us upward to the Glory of God but also outward toward love of neighbor. The water drop shape is a reminder of God’s grace-filled promises to us at baptism. We are people of God. To God be the Glory. Gloria Dei.” – Pastor Tim

Hi everyone,

Over these past months we’ve been working with Matt Jensen Marketing on several ways to improve our communications. Part of this process has resulted in a redesigned website, a new domain name, and some rebranding.

This week we have soft launched the redesigned website and domain name and have unveiled a new brand for Gloria Dei. As our mission moves forward, we believe the rebrand is another tool that will propel us into 2023 and beyond.

As you begin to see the new logo more and more, let me share with you a few thoughts on what it symbolizes to us.

Gloria Dei.

You’ll see the new branding transition across Gloria Dei ministries internally and externally in a gradual roll out in 2023.

Another update you’ll notice is our domain name has transitioned from www.gloriadei-sd.org to www.gloriadeisf.org. Don’t worry if you type our previous domain name, we have secured that URL to redirect to our new website for a lifetime.

The domain name changes come with Church Council approval and recommendation from Matt Jensen Marketing. We believe that www.gloriadeisf.org is a stronger domain for the future and that the best timing for making the transition is concurrent with the launch of the new website.

I encourage you to use our Search Bar feature on the website if you are unable to find something you’re looking for. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to Sydney in our office.

Strong communication and branding is just one of the ways we lift up and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, but it is an important one. I look forward, with you, to the future God has in store for this community of faith called Gloria Dei.

For this week in worship, please read Luke chapters 13 to 17. And be sure to check out the accompanying video which corresponds to these chapters. You can always find the videos on the front page of our website.

See you in worship,

Pastor Tim
