Hello Gloria Dei,
Sometimes in life it is good to ponder the big, first order questions. Why am I here? What is my purpose? Is there a God? If so, does God care about me?
As Christians, we trust that not only is there a God, but also that God has done everything to set our relationship right, even to the point of giving his Son to die for us.
We are excited at Gloria Dei as we approach another Rally Weekend and begin another year of ministry and programming. As we live, learn, and fellowship together, we receive support from God and from one another as we get solid answers to life’s big questions.
During these fall months we will launch into a preaching series we are calling “Made For.” Each of us has many gifts, talents, interests and passions. God has given each one of us our own unique personality. Yet there are certain things of God that we are all made for. As we lean into this God who loves us and into the purposes that God intends for us, our lives become enriched and abundant.
This coming weekend we start with the theme “Made For Praise and Worship.” You and I are made to be in relationship with God and to honor, worship, and praise Him. In preparation for worship, please read Psalm 104, which is a Psalm of praise.
