Happy Friday Gloria Dei! This weekend in worship, we’re continuing our sermon series in the Gospel of Matthew. In preparation, I would encourage you to read Matthew chapters 9-12. We’ll spend most of our time in Matthew 10 this weekend with Jesus sending the apostles into ministry.
In addition to worship this weekend, I want to encourage you to be in prayer for our senior pastor call process. The Call Committee has been deep in conversation, prayer, and discernment. Here’s their update:
We’re happy to share that the Call Committee has completed the third round of our interview process for Gloria Dei’s next Senior Pastor. After many conversations, interviews, prayer and thoughtful discernment, we have reached the next stage of the call process with a single candidate. There are still several important steps ahead as we continue through the process, but we knew many were wondering where things stand so we wanted to get you an update.
We are grateful for your patience, encouragement and prayers throughout this important work. Please continue to pray for the candidates, the Call Committee, the Council and our congregation as we discern where God is leading Gloria Dei.
