Hello Gloria Dei,
One of my favorite psalms is Psalm 100. It starts by saying, “Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord.” I love that. And it ends by saying, “For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness is to all generations.”
At Gloria Dei this past week the church has been filled with Joyful Noise. We’ve had over 100 kids, ages three to five, and over 60 adult and youth helpers for our VBS week. The kids have been singing, learning, and enjoying their mornings here at Gloria Dei. It has been a wonderful week. A big thank you goes to Lara Kvale and her whole team for organizing such a super event. Through everything, we’ve witnessed “God’s faithfulness to all generations.”
I also want to remind all of you that Gloria Dei is once again hosting a “Feed My Starving Children” event on Friday and Saturday, July 17 and 18. Our goal is to pack over 100 thousand meals which will feed the many of the most vulnerable children and adults around the globe. To register, you can go to the Gloria Dei website and find “Sign Ups and Happenings” under the Church Life tab. Invite your friends and family to join you. We’ll say more about this event next week.
