Hello Gloria Dei,
It has been a while since we’ve updated the congregation on the Sr. Pastor Call Process and the progress being made. As you know, we have a wonderful Call Committee in place, and they are working and praying diligently as they seek to find the next Sr. Pastor for Gloria Dei. Just as a reminder, here are the names of the Committee members:

The work the committee is doing remains confidential, particularly regarding the names of the candidates. However, here is an update from Kimber Severson, Call Committee and Church Council Member:
The committee has made great progress and narrowed the initial pool of candidates down to four for in-person interviews. We are now moving into second-round interviews with two candidates. We know that God is guiding this congregation and this Call process. Thank you for your continued prayers.

This week in worship we are beginning a seven-week preaching series called “Summer at the Lake”. We’ll be using some of the many Bible texts that have to do with water. In preparation for this weekend’s worship, please read Numbers 20:2-13.
