Hello Gloria Dei,
Just a few reminders of a few upcoming events.
One: This weekend in worship we celebrate All Saints. Be thankful for those people in your life who have helped to shape your journey of faith and your journey of life. And the good news is, by virtue of Christ’s life, death, and resurrection, and through faith in him, we are all declared to be saints of God.
Two: We celebrate Pastor Tim’s ministry with a retirement luncheon this Sunday beginning at noon. If you are able to attend, please RSVP using this link.
Three: Vinyl Taco Stewardship and Fellowship event: Sunday, November 8, from 5 to 7pm. There is still room, but we need you to sign up. Come to Vinyl Taco at 5 pm for this adult-only event. You will enjoy time with fellow Gloria Dei members and hear about some of the ministry happening at Gloria Dei.
Four: As we prepare for ministry in 2027, it is time to provide Estimates of Financial Giving for next year. Many of you have done so already, but if not, please go to our website or use this link to provide an Estimate of Giving Card. This is very helpful in preparing our budget and ministry plan for next year. Thank you for your continued support and generosity to Christ’s work in and through this vibrant and growing congregation. You make a difference in thousands of lives for the sake of Jesus.
For this weekend in worship, please read 2 Timothy 1:1-14 and John 17:20-26.
See you in worship,
Pastor Tim
